As I descended the stairs for breakfast, I noticed the voices coming from the dining area. Moving in their direction, I saw Ansh scanning the room, clearly looking for someone. I immediately understood who he was searching for. Since yesterday, I hadn't heard a word from her. She had silently handed me Ansh after he fell asleep in her arms and left without a word.
